Biography

Günther Uecker (German pronunciation: ˈɡ߲Գɐ ˈʔ߰ɐ; 13 March 1930 – 10 June 2025) was a German painter, sculptor, op artist, and installation artist. He became known primarily for his nail reliefs. In 1961, Uecker joined the ZERO group.
