Since 1977, when Skulptur Projekte Münster first brought together artists from all over the world to define the relationship between art and the public, there have been great changes in the way artists engage with urban space and the public sphere, and in the way the public engages with art works. Skulptur Projekte Münster 07, curated by Brigitte Franzen, Kasper König and Carina Plath, takes up the challenge to redefine these relationships.
