Women in War: Lee Miller

27 November 2025 at 18.30–20.00

Lee Miller Fire masks, Downshire Hill, London 1941. Victoria and Albert Museum

Discover the untold stories of women in conflict journalism in this talk inspired by Lee Miller

As we watch the world unfold on our screens, journalists share the great responsibility of documenting humanity amidst conflict, bearing witness to history and shaping how we make sense of war.

Join us for this panel of correspondents and trauma specialists as they explore the moral complexities and psychic impacts of observing suffering and destruction through the lens or on the page.

Tate Britain's step-free entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.

  • Accessible, standard and Changing Places toilets are located on the Lower floor.
  • Ear defenders can be borrowed from the ticket desk on the Lower floor.
