Described as a celestial map and drawing in space, we will take the light installation Forms in Space…by Light (in Time) as our point of departure responding to sound and movement and translating these into diagrams and abstract drawings as well as creating our own 3D drawings.
This workshop is designed specifically for blind and partially sighted participants. Using a range of materials and techniques this session will give participants the opportunity to consider and create their own line drawings and the relationship between line and space.
Open to all abilities, this is a specialist workshop for blind and partially sighted participants. Materials and refreshments provided. The workshop will be led by arts practitioner Monica Rivas Velasquez and fully supported by a trained audio describer. Up to one sighted companion per participant and guide dogs are welcome.
