8 December 2012 at 15.30–16.30

Peter Kennard, Broken Missile 1980. Tate. © Peter Kennard.

Peter Kennard was born in London in 1949. Kennard, whose drawings are featured in Tracing the Century: Drawing as a Catalyst for Change, abandoned painting in the 1970s in search of new forms of expression that could bring art and politics together for a wider audience. He is senior tutor in photography at the Royal College of Art.
