The Shape of My Mind is the culmination of a project that brings together people from across the city on a journey of self-reflection. Taking shape as collaborative sculpture, the young people from the project will represent their current or past experiences of mental health in education, both positive and negative.
Following a government consultation that addressed the transformation of children and young people’s mental health, The Shape of My Mind offers the opportunity for young people to actively engage with a creative arts project.
This project has been shaped through a series of workshops and talks led by William Thompson and artist Julie Mitchell.
