Description

Jeanne asks Lipchitz to forgive her for not being able to come because she has clients, which happens very rare. These clients 'bought a lot', and after them 'an important publisher' came. She also tells that these clients who 'arrived today' are from New York they are charming and they have a good taste. 'When they were talking a lot about the modern sculpture which does not satisfy them, I said that I personally put your sculpture apart of this. They know you by name. If you permit, I will bring them to you to the atelier on the next Wednesday at 4 pm. I have also writte to Jaffe [or Saffe] on subject of your little statue, you can be sure that he will come to you'.
