On the first day of the new exhibition at Tate St Ives we are pleased to invite teachers and educational professionals and their families to join us at this friendly and informal afternoon. Admission is free – no advance booking necessary – simply register your name and school/college on arrival. Explore the gallery independently or join the Learning Curator and an artist-educator at 13.30 to consider ways of engaging students through enquiry and discussion. This is a chance to share ideas about themes and approaches relevant to formal learning environments at all levels.

The courtyard will be open from 14.30 where you can collect free resources, back catalogues and posters as well as enjoy complimentary refreshments. A representative from Cornwall Art Forum will be available for advice and guidance on connecting the exhibition to the curriculum.
